Allawah is a suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia and covers an area of 0.62 square kilometres. The name ‘Allawah’ originated from a local term meaning ‘make your abode here’ or ‘remain here’. It is located 16 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district within 16 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district and partly in Bayside Council.
